Kim Brewer is the administrative assistant to the Children’s Pastor, Megan Lacefield as well as the entire Children’s Ministry and has often been referred to as the Super Hero to the Kids Ministry staff. She loves what she does at New River and has often said, “I am so blessed that God has brought me here to New River and brought these kids into my life!” She has been on staff since 2006, serving as a volunteer in the kids ministry 2 years prior to joining the team and intends to be here “’Til Jesus comes!” . Her passion is to introduce kids to Christ and equip them to build a life-long relationship with Him.

Kim is true Texan, born and raised. She is an Aledo High School graduate and attended Weatherford College. She worked many years as a children’s photographer before being called to ministry.  Kim married her high school sweetheart, Clint Brewer, in 1997 and they have two beautiful girls Kattie (10) and Koryn (7). Her strengths are discernment, being a good friend, and whipping the pants off of anyone she challenges to Mario Cart. Her weaknesses include self criticism, chocolate, and her fear of milk trucks.  She enjoys music, singing, watching movies, scrapbooking, and spending time making memories with her family and friends.
