Kim describes herself with 4 words, daughter, wife, mother and  friend.

She is the only child  of two educators, with ministers, missionaries and artists making up her biological DNA.

She’s  loved being  a  wife since  January 1978 to her  “love at first sight” Blayne Schorr, New River’s Executive Pastor.

She is mother to Erin Elizabeth, an Aggie graduate, who just recently married  Christopher Christie in October 2009, and now resides in Chicago.

She counts herself fortunate to have made and kept countless  friendships from as far back as elementary school to today, in every part of the country and in every walk of life.

Kims passion for Women’s Ministry has been called “infectious”.  It is her goal to help bring women first into the Kingdom of God, second to help them grow deeper in their walk with God and third to remind them that it’s fun being a girl!
