Korby Taylor serves as an Associate Pastor at New River.  Korby graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University.  He also received an Associates degree from Weatherford College and attended two years at Southwestern Seminary.  Prior to New River, his ministry experience included ten years in Youth Ministry and four years as a College Student Ministry Director.  Korby and his family joined New River in August of 1999.

While at New River, Korby has served in the areas of Youth, College, Discipleship, Men’s Ministry, New Members and SmallGroups.  His heart’s desire is to show people how real and intimate a relationship with Christ can be.  He also believes that walking in “Biblical Community” (aka SmallGroups) together is a key element in experiencing that kind of relationship with Christ. Korby and his wife Julie both grew up in the Weatherford area and have been married since 1996.  They have a daughter, Kailee and a son, Hudson.  In his spare time Korby loves hunting, fishing and fantasy football.
