Melissa comes from humble beginnings on the back, red dirt roads of Oklahoma! For that reason she cannot help that she is an OU Sooners fan! In 2001, Melissa began working in Student Ministry while attending Christ For the Nations in Dallas, TX. Along her journey she also found herself working in different areas of the church such as Children’s Ministry, Communications and Web Design. Melissa is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University.

Melissa is the Administrative Assistant to the Student Ministries and the Web Master.  Melissa is a devoted Momma to two young men Ayden & Jaxon, who will no doubt share her love for God and acquire many great skills, such as the trachea-chop, and her super ability to leap short distances in a single bound (there are pictures to prove it). Melissa believes that she has currently found her niche at New River, where she hopes to continue her quest in pursuing The Hero with reckless abandonment.
