About Scott:

Pastor Scott grew up in Seguin, Texas where at age 17 began to realize God’s plan for his life. After graduation from Southwestern Baptist Theological seminary Scott began traveling and speaking at youth and college events with people like Chris Tomlin and Mercy Me.  Later Scott would go on staff with Joel Osteen at Lakewood church to oversee youth, college and singles ministries and was a regular speaker on the main platform. 

Today Scott is the senior pastor at New River Fellowship.  Scott is a straightforward communicator who uniquely connects God's unchanging truth with a diverse culture through compelling and creative teaching methods.  Scott has been married to Renee for twenty–two years and has four children.
