FAVORITE

Books: The Bible and anything by Neal Stephenson
Food: Sushi and good black coffee. Not together though.
Music Artist: It changes too frequently to list, but I gravitate towards songs with lyrics that reflect both the struggles and victories in a person’s life.
Place to Pray: Anywhere with like-minded believers – I love the collective power of people coming into spiritual agreement.
Recreational Activities/Hobbies: Reading, watching movies alone (all kinds, except for horror)
Scripture: Romans 8. Part instruction manual and part exhortation, it’s an in-your-face call to life with Christ and his Spirit. A close second is Proverbs 3:1-8, which is about the connection between God’s wisdom and well-being.

A LITTLE MORE...

Best Thing Someone Said to You: You are created in the very image of God.

Life Motto: Solve the problem!

Three People I’d Like to Meet:  Deborah from Judges, Margaret Thatcher and Julius Caesar

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: When scientific studies prove (or rather, confirm) what God teaches through His word or what I’ve learned about people through Freedom Ministry. It makes me smile every time.

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: When I accepted Christ. I was well into adulthood, experienced many good and bad things, and reached a personal crisis. God used people, songs and teachings to plant and water seeds in me, and I reached a clear and simple moment at a Saturday night church service when it was time to accept Christ. I had a deep, but abstract, understanding of my personal need and in the moment I accepted Jesus Christ, I felt a physical impact in my body and a discernible shift in my spirit.
